Getting Israel out of Egypt was easier than getting Egypt out of Israel. 

How do we address the slave mentality?  We were once slaves.  We must realize this and the slave way of thinking must not go forward.  We must choose to obey God and not men, that is our freedom.  We must not dwell on what we cannot do, but what Christ can do in us (Phil:4:13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.)  Think like a son, not a slave.

We are not here because of a shared history, but a shared future.
